Easy Techniques in Learning Conversational Hypnosis
When we watch Hollywood films, we see a hypnosis scene played by a hypnotist with a swing watch. This scene progresses and the subject is put in trance. Somehow, this is correct as the goal of hypnosis is to put the subject into a trancelike state.
Conversational hypnosis is a technique where the hypnotist uses his great speaking ability to hypnotize his subject. You can learn conversational hypnosis by means of a few sequences of words called hypnosis scripts. The names that pop out of my mind on the subject of conversational hypnosis are Erick Milton, Clifford Mee and Igor Ledochowski. These great men developed this method of turning mere conversations into powerful tools to improve people.
Learn conversational hypnosis with these simple tips:
- Study some techniques on how you can bring a subject to trance state. Create rapport with your subject—just keep agreeing with what your subject is thinking.
- Once rapport is established, ask a confusing question.
- With your subject’s conscious mind confused, you can begin to introduce a solution or powerful suggestions (study some hypnosis scripts and practice using them).
It’s actually easy to learn conversational hypnosis—all you have to do is learn to be persuasive and confident and you should be able to carry out a session with ease.
How to Achieve Hypnosis Success
For one minute, be honest to yourself? Do you really like who and what you are? Do you like the image that you project to the public? Would you rather be known as someone who’s confident, talented, charming or influential?
Sometimes, becoming an achiever could be difficult for some people to attain. These are the very people that can benefit from hypnosis.
Hypnosis success is achieved only if you benefit, for instance, from a conversational hypnosis session. This means working with your hypnotherapist and heeding his suggestions. I could spend hours of hypnosis or self-hypnosis just to change all the things that I don’t want in me, yet I can only achieve hypnosis success if I keep my mind open to all the positive suggestions that I receive.
By having the will to change, to discover yourself and to develop to a better person, you begin to learn the art of hypnosis in so many ways. You can choose to do this by learning self-hypnosis and administering the techniques to yourself or by attending classes to learn from experienced hypnotherapists. Whichever you choose, I wish you only the best of luck!
What Topics are Being Discussed Inside Hypnosis Classes?
Isn’t it our nature to test the waters first before indulging in anything new? This is a normal human defense mechanism that is applicable in most aspects of our lives. For instance, if you are interested in attending hypnosis classes, you must know what you would be going into.
Most hypnosis classes are held in traditional classroom settings. I agree with this concept, since learning is maximized when our minds are set to absorb knowledge (this can be triggered by a classroom environment). Most hypnosis classes take approximately 20 hours, divided into 8 weeks (or you could talk to hypnosis school staffers regarding your schedule preference).
By browsing through majority of the courses that are being offered, these are the most common subjects that I found similar among schools:
- Introduction to Hypnosis (including history, theories and other basics)
- Self-Hypnosis
- Modification of Behaviors
- Hypnosis Suggestion (these are often conversational hypnosis sessions)
- Interpreting Dreams during your sleep
Now that you have, more or less, an idea of what a hypnosis course offers, then it’s time to decide which school you should go to.
Life-Changing Hypnosis Suggestions You Need to Learn
I used to think that being a great hypnotist means being good at mystifying techniques and a dash of abracadabra. Well, research has turned my belief around. Now, I know that there is more to hypnosis than just being in trance. I now know that there are powerful hypnosis suggestions behind effective hypnosis sessions.
Do you know that stories can make a great hypnotist out of anyone? There are many hypnotic stories that can help transform many wayward lives. Storytelling can be a powerful hypnosis suggestion as it allows you to embed emotional triggers.
Telling stories also makes a subject feel relaxed at a hypnotist’s presence. When this happens, the subject’s subconscious mind becomes open to accept some suggestions. Storytelling is somehow a form of conversational hypnosis, where the subject readily absorbs any word that comes out of your mouth.
I believe that I am more responsive when I listen to stories than when I listen to drab sessions—and this is human nature. So why not try to choose the better option when it comes to hypnosis suggestions?
History of Hypnosis
Sometimes, I am so consumed with learning techniques and theories on hypnosis that I tend to overlook where it all started. In order for me to understand this great subject in full, I have to first learn the history of hypnosis.
It is believed that the term hypnosis was not used until the 19th century. However, the history of hypnosis often includes similar events that appear to be acts of hypnosis (it’s just that it wasn’t called by that name then!). Here are some of those notable events:
- The presence of sleep temples in India, Greece and Egypt
- The use of magnetic force to heal (1400’s until 1700’s)
- The use of hypnoanesthesia or mesmeric coma in surgical operations (used by a physician named Recarnier in 1821)
It wasn’t until James Braid developed Recarnier’s idea that turned it into what we know today as hypnosis.
The modern names that are associated with hypnosis are Ernest Hilgard, Milton Erickson, Harry Arons, Ormond McGill, John Kappas, Igor Lechowski (developed conversational hypnosis) and Peter Reeven, to name a few.
This, in a nutshell, is the history of hypnosis. There is definitely much, much more to learn about this intriguing subject.
Listen to Hypnosis Subliminal Messages and Become Successful
If you are just like me and you are into hypnosis and other hypnosis stuff, then you might have already encountered the term hypnosis subliminal messages. Subliminal messages can work for your betterment without any effort on your part. Here’s how it works:
When messages are flashed at a very high speed in front of you, your eyes don’t even get to process what they actually see. However, your subconscious mind works and instantly understands what these images really are. Your subconscious mind also accepts whatever images it gets to see. So, imagine this power of your subconscious mind being put into good use!
The possibilities are actually limitless as the hypnosis subliminal messages can make you learn a new skill. You can get rid of bad, old habits, stop any phobia or addiction and even treat some recurring illnesses. And on top of it all, you don’t get to exert any effort—you just stare!
Stop being skeptical. Believe! After all, man’s brain (the part that you are currently using) is just 10% conscious and 90% subconscious. Imagine all the unfiltered, good hypnosis subliminal messages that your subconscious can absorb (especially during conversational hypnosis), if you only allow it to. So, start flooding your subconscious mind with thoughts of success now.
How to Hypnotize With the Use of Hypnosis Scripts
I’ve recently chanced upon three hypnosis scripts, which anyone could use to solve weight problems, control anxiety and have confidence. Have fun reading these conversational hypnosis scripts:
Hypnosis Script for Controlling Weight
You have started an effective approach to become slim, fit and attractive… and you desire these features. I am giving you suggestions that will make you a permanently healthy and fit person throughout your life. You can put these suggestions in the deepest recesses of your subconscious mind. I’m giving you a brand new pattern of living, new thoughts and fresh courses of action… and all are to make you a healthy and successful person.
As you relax and go deeper into hypnosis, all sounds would fade and you will only pay attention to the sound of my voice. Listen carefully to all these positive suggestions, especially the one that you will stop eating when you’re no longer hungry. Always ask your stomach if it is actually hungry. If not, find something else to do.
This hypnosis will bring back your normal reflexes—those that tell that you only need to eat to sustain growth and well-being. When you wake up, you will begin your journey towards a more slender you.
Hypnosis Scripts for Anxiety Prevention and Gaining Confidence
For these targets, just replace the words referring to weight in the script above with anxiety control and gaining confidence.
How to Choose the Right Hypnosis Training Courses
If I’m interested in becoming a hypnotist, there are certain questions that need to be answered before I can decide to enroll in any of those courses offered in hypnosis schools. There are now many hypnosis training courses to choose from, so I would need to do a thorough research before I can say that I’m truly prepared.
Here are some of my questions:
- How many hours should I spend in learning hypnosis? Out of the required number of hours in a certain curriculum, how many are spent in classrooms?
- Will I be certified once I finish any of the hypnosis training courses? Will the certification come from a reputable and highly recognized hypnosis association?
- Will I be able to practice hypnosis or establish a career as a hypnotist once I graduate from a certain school? Will I be an expert on techniques like conversational hypnosis, putting people in trance or progressive relaxation?
- Will I be taught by competent instructors (who are professional hypnotists themselves)? How many years have these instructors been practicing hypnotherapy?
- Will I receive practical training?
- Will I be given a course outline that I could review first before making the right decision?
Once I get answers to these questions, I would be able decide which hypnosis training course is the right one for me.
Hypnotic Mind Control Techniques - Conceptions and Misconceptions
I am one of the few people who believe that there is a very thin line between professional hypnotism and manipulative mind control.
The ethics that bind professional hypnotists is all that keeps them from using hypnotic mind control techniques to drive people to do things against their will. The use of hypnotic mind control techniques is only considered ethical if the person has given his consent to be hypnotized.
Techniques such as conversational hypnosis, putting a person in trance, progressive relaxation and even past life regression are all hypnotic mind control techniques that aim to help. When mind control is used to recruit members of a certain religion (similar to Stockholm syndrome, where the kidnapper appears kind to his victim), mind control becomes a dirty tactic.
Either by self-discipline or with the help of other people, mind control is quite an interesting subject. The key is to avoid using force or fear to coerce anyone to do your bidding. Hypnosis is about making a person control himself to become a better person and is not about using hypnotic mind control techniques to lose self control.
Accelerated Programs to Help You Learn Hypnosis—Right Now!
I always associate learning with a classroom setting or training sessions. Most people do. In reality, learning can also be done in a different environment other than a classroom. Am I glad that I can now learn many things even without leaving my home?
And now that I’m very interested in how to learn hypnosis now, so interested that I can’t wait for months or even just a few weeks to master the techniques, I am comforted with the fact that there are now CD’s I can purchase online that can teach essential techniques in no time at all.
Yes, it’s for real and these programs can teach you hypnosis right this very moment. You have to be interested so that your sub-conscious will be able to absorb all the new information. The subliminal and supraliminal programs are designed to inculcate the techniques through conversational hypnosis for accelerated learning.
How to learn hypnosis now? It’s easy—I just have to condition my mind to relax so that my subconscious mind will absorb hypnosis techniques in just hours.
Impossible, you might say. I will only agree with you if I don’t believe in the power of the mind to turn things around… but I believe!
